Like Uno, Dos is a shedding-type card game where the goal is to be the first player to empty your hand of cards.
In Dos, players start with a hand of seven cards each, and the remaining cards are placed in a draw pile. The top two cards from the draw pile are flipped face-up to start two discard piles. Players take turns playing cards from their hand onto the discard piles, following the matching number or color of the top card on the pile.
One of the key differences from Uno is the introduction of the "Dos" card, which allows players to make a match by playing a card that totals two in value with the top card of the discard pile. For example, if the top card is a 5, a player can play a 3 card and announce "Dos" to make a match.
The game continues with players strategically playing cards, drawing from the draw pile when they cannot play a card, and aiming to be the first to empty their hand. Points are awarded based on the value of the cards remaining in opponents' hands when someone goes out.
Dos offers a familiar yet refreshing gameplay experience for fans of Uno and other shedding-type card games, with its own unique twist on the genre. It's suitable for players of all ages and can be enjoyed by families and casual gamers alike.
