In this game, players take on the roles of farmers competing to grow the most bountiful harvest of vegetables in their garden plots.
Each player starts with a personal garden board divided into a grid of squares. Throughout the game, players take turns drafting dice representing different types of vegetables, such as carrots, tomatoes, and lettuce. These dice are then planted in their garden plots.
The goal is to strategically plant vegetables in your garden to maximize points while meeting certain objectives and avoiding penalties. Each vegetable type has different scoring conditions, such as forming contiguous groups, completing rows or columns, or avoiding pests.
In addition to drafting dice, players must also manage their water supply, as each round only allows a limited number of watering actions. Efficiently managing resources and planning ahead are key to success in Harvest Dice.
