It is a game of luck and risk-taking, where players try to avoid accumulating points by avoiding pairs in a deck of cards.
The game components include a deck of standard playing cards, with each card featuring a number from 1 to 10. The goal of the game is to avoid getting pairs, as each pair of cards in a player's hand at the end of the round earns them points.
To start the game, the deck is shuffled, and each player is dealt a starting hand of cards. Players take turns drawing cards from the deck and either keeping them in their hand or discarding them face-up in front of them. Players must be cautious not to create pairs in their hands.
As the game progresses, players must decide whether to continue drawing cards to improve their hand or to stop and avoid the risk of getting pairs. The round ends when one player decides to "fold" or when the deck runs out of cards. Players then reveal their hands, and points are scored based on the number of pairs each player has.
The game continues for multiple rounds, with players keeping track of their points throughout. The player with the lowest total points at the end of the predetermined number of rounds is declared the winner.
